Child's Play with Auntie Woody

Welcome to the home page for Child's Play, heard on The Legend every Saturday at 9 AM Eastern, 6 AM Pacific, and 2 PM in the U.K. If you're young or young at heart, you'll find lots to enjoy on Child's Play. Every Saturday, I'll present an hour of children's music, stories and drama old and new. From Spike Jones to Sarah Pirtle, Rusty in Orchestraville to Raffi, Winnie-the-Pooh to the Wizard of Oz, you'll find it all on Child's Play. You'll also hear special features such as On your Feet and Multiple Versions, and frequent appearances by my eight-year-old son Max will keep things lively and interesting. Requests are welcome, and you'll be able to participate in other ways as time goes by. So add some child's play to your Saturday.

Coming on Saturday's Show

The top of the day to you! In honor of St. patrick's Day, we feature Irish songs and stories. You'll hear about a generous leprechaun, an automobile in which driving is a real adventure, what happened to the world's unicorns, and more.
