Special Thanksgiving day shows
There will be two special shows on Thanksgiving day. These shows will be cohosted by GeneralJR, that's me, and Jeff Bishop of the Desert Skies. The first show will be the breakfast show from 8 to 11 AM eastern and the second show will be the after dinner special from 7 PM to midnight eastern.
On the breakfast show we will do a lot of things relating to thanksgiving, some great 60's, 70's, and 80's music, and other fun stuff including some live calls.
On the after dinner show we will play the top ten from this week in 1968, An episode of Chicken Man provided by our own Tim Aune, and a lot of christmas music toward the end of the show to get you in the mood for the holiday season. We expect some live calls and a lot of fun.
We'd love to have your requests and possibly hear from you. You can send requests through all the methods listed below and we will provide the call-in numbers on the shows.
Please be sure to join us it will be a history making event and lots of fun.
The Wednesday night Eclection
This will be two hours of Eclection block party.
Saturday Eclection
The Saturday Eclection will be a collection of randomness. It will be a great list of hits, most well loved and some possibly a bit forgotten. If you have a request send it along and I will do my best to play it for you.
General Information
Please join the General, that's me, on the Legend, each Saturday, where we will have a musical journey together.
During the three hours we will sample various genres of music, go to the comedy corner, play a Mini-Album or two and many other fun things. We will also take your requests, see below.
Eclection Corners
The Comedy Corner
In the comedy corner we will play something funny to provide a chuckle or two for all of you listeners.
The Jazz and Blues Corner
In the Jazz and Blues Corner we will take a look at something from old or modern jaz or the blues.
The Classical Corner
In the Classical Corner we will have some bit of Symphonic or vocal classics.
The Mini-Album
The Mini-Album is a set of four selections by a given artist set up so it is like an album with two selections on each side. Remember those old vinyl records we used to buy and some of us still keep around and store?
Songs That Are Related
We may also occasionally add other corners for fun that contain other music or things that are related in some way.
The local Artist Corner
There could also be something thrown in from a local artist that I feel is very well done.
Finally, around all of that we will have a lot of good old rock-'n-roll with a bit of country sprinkled in for spice.
