Welcome to the home page of the Mosen Explosion Radio Show, heard right here on The Legend every Sunday between 5 and 9 Eastern US time.
About the Show
Presented from Wellington New Zealand from studios at Mosen Towers, the Mosen Explosion is four hours of radio that’s full of fun, spontaneity, listener interaction and the best music ever made.
Special features include:
- The Banana Report, where the Mosen kids get let loose on the air to say who knows what,
- What the minx Thinks with Julia Mosen,
- And regular visits to the world of the bizarre with our Wacky News bulletins sprinkled throughout the show.
But mostly, we spend our time playing great music from the 50s through to the 80s. Much of what we play is driven by you, and that’s the way we like it.

We've talked lots about chocolate fish,
They're a chocolate and marshmallow dish.
They taste oh so yummy, when filling your tummy,
So want some? We may grant your wish!

Is compose us a limerick or two.
If yours is the best, and outclasses the rest,
then we'll send chocolate fish straight to you.

It's school holiday time, so we have the bananas with us live throughout the show this week. It's a big week in Beatles history, as we recall how they became the first band in history to occupy all top five Billboard slots. We'll play that top five for you.
