Welcome to This Issue
It has been a busy week for the on-air staff and the behind-the-scenes folks at the Worldwide Legend. This past Wednesday, we celebrated 16 straight hours of live programming, and our weekly listener stats continue their upward trend. All of us at the Legend jointly express our appreciation to you for listening, and we look forward to continuing to receive your suggestions, thoughts, and comments. All of us very much enjoy what we do, but we realize that without your ongoing loyalty, our experiences would be much less rewarding. Welcome to this issue of the newsletter, and again, thanks for listening to the Legend.
Changes, Changes: Another Look Inside Robby the Robot’s Room
If you read last week’s newsletter, you know that we’ve been busy fine-tuning our automated delivery system. Affectionately known around here as Robby the Robot, the automation system continues to go through changes designed to make it not only more personal but to assure that the kind of music you know and love best is exactly what’s playing regardless of when you listen. With that goal in mind, the Legend’s Bill Sparks and General J. R. have been working hard on the system this past week, especially Thursday and Friday, in an attempt to ensure that you hear forgotten favorites with just the right balance of informational material designed to acquaint you with live programs and their content. It’s likely that their work isn’t finished, so stay tuned and continue to benefit from their techno-wizardry.
The Legendary Music Library Expands
Here at the World Wide Legend, we take great pride in playing forgotten favorites. Effective this week, Legend DJs have an even larger number of songs from which to pick when they provide you with the best live programming anywhere in Internet radio. Our already extensive music library has grown by thousands of songs, and you’ll likely soon hear the difference. We have more of your forgotten favorites from the 80s, for example, on tap and ready to enhance your day. You’re likely to hear some songs that were popular 15 to 20 years ago now as well. Stay tuned; our ongoing quest to find and play your favorite songs continues.

On Thursday night, Tim returns to the Legend for his weekly Thursday night show that includes a top 10. This week, Tim will feature the top 10 songs from this week in 1974.
